For years (since 2009), I've been known in the blogging world as Fun Florida Mom!
I've had the opportunity to work with so many companies, promoting products and lunching campaigns for them. My blog and my business took the backseat while my kids were in their most active stages of life. Just when you think they don't need you so much, that's when they need you more than ever!
It's been awhile, but I'm thrilled to back! I hope to reignite my passion for writing, creating content that will inspire and engage my readers again. I'm here to share my personal experiences, showcase my expertise and simply express my creativity.
As a mom, you have a wealth of knowledge and experience to share with the world. And in my case, just becasue I've hit the BIG 5-0 (my excuse for a long time) doesn't mean you can't continue to share your insights and connect with other moms through blogging. In fact, getting back into mom blogging at 50 can be a wonderful way to stay engaged and connected to your community and continue to grow as a writer and a person!
So often, I meet other moms who say they'd love to start a blog but have no idea how. Since I've already been through that growing pain, I'll start back by helping you out!
Here are some tips to get you started:
1. Find your niche: What topics are you most passionate about? What unique perspective can you bring to the table? Whether its parenting, health and wellness or travel , finding your niche will help you focus your contet and attract a dedicated audience.
2. Set realistic goals: Blogging can be a time-consuming endeavor, so it's important to set realistic goals for yourself. Start small and build from there. maybe your goal is to post once a week, or to reach a certain number of follwers within a certain timeframe. Whatever your goals may be, make sure they are achievable and measurable.
3. Connect with other bloggers: One of the best things about blogging is the sense of community it can provide. Reach out to other mom bloggers in your niche and start building relationships. Comment on their posts, share their content, and engage with them on social media. Not only will this help you build a following, but it can also lead to valuable collaborations and friendships.
4. Embrace your age: Above all, remember that blogging should be fun! Don't put too much pressure on yourself to be perfect or to have all the answers. Share your stories, connect with your readers, and enjoy the journey.
Getting back into blogging at 50 can be a rewarding and fulfilling experience. With a little bit of planning and a lot of passion, you can create a blog that inspires and empowers other moms, while also allowing you to express yourself and connect with others in a meaningful way!
